You are Invited
Jesus gave his disciples the command as he turned them loose on the world to “Go and make disciples.” A disciple is one who follows, learns from, and imitates a teacher or leader. We are disciples of Jesus, and we are told to GO and make more. They won’t come to us. So where do we find these potential disciples? They are much closer than you think. There are potential disciples all around us at work, at the football games, in the grocery store, and right next door. They are people we already know who have not decided yet to follow Jesus.

Wear this book out!
Sunday we talked about God’s Story given to us in the Bible. Allow me to give the basic outline again for that story:
- Creation
- Fall
- Israel (God’s community)
- Jesus
- The Church
Needless to say, there is a great deal to say about each of those themes, but when we understand these basics, we can see the Bible as God intended it: His story for all the world.
